There has been some discussion on AFI's MMA Certification, that due to the full contact factor and techniques taught, it will certify the participants as Martial Arts Instructors. Lets be very clear, yes you will learn Mixed Martial Arts Techniques, How to apply them and more importantly how to teach them, but that does not make you a Mixed Martial Arts instructor.

The AFI MMA Certifiies you to SAFELY teach your clients how to train for MMA and how to SAFELY take your client through a safe MMA workout and to SAFELY train them to be fight ready. You will also be able to SAFELY lightly spar with your clients. Your Clients will not be getting injured, injured clients cannot train. You on the other hand, may take a shot or two; but hey, that's why you get paid the big bucks!
