When Your Client Are Going Away PDF Print E-mail
As always, building your business is my utmost concern, good business for you, means successful AFI trainers, and that is good business for me. Summer is just around the corner, that means that most of your 2, and 3 day a week clients will be going off on vacation. That means it is time to:

A) renew your clients early
B) pick up a few new clients

Ask all of your clients if they are planning a vacation so you know exactly where you stand. Let them know that by renewing early, you can guarantee them the same time slot when they get back.

If you are an inhouse trainer, get on the gym floor at prime-time, and start prospecting. Set a daily prospecting goal for yourself daily. No one else on the planet cares about your money as much as you do, so do not rely on anyone other than yourself to keep you busy.

If you are an independent Trainer, ask all of your clients for a referral. Set goals to speak to a number of people each day, step out of that comfort zone and realize that you have the whole world to prospect. Talk to people, be sociable, everyone you talk to is a potential client. If you are not sure how to get new clients as an independent trainer, e-mail me and we can go over a few basics, or even better, attend the next seminar.

Every AFI Certified Trainer should re-read the chapter on selling personal training at least once a month to re-motivate themselves to get out there. There is no objection that you can not overcome, and there is no one that can not afford at least one session.
