Pay yourself for every session Print E-mail
When you train you really work for you. So how much are you paying yourself? It may seem like a silly question, but how much do you pay yourself an hour when you train? If you are like most people, you train, take your pay and pay your bills. That's how everyone else does it, so that is how we are supposed to do it right? Wrong!

First of all, trainers are not like everybody else. Trainers are independent, free spirited entrepreneurs who work for themselves. Even if you work in a gym, you are working for yourself, therefore this applies to all trainers.

Back to the question: How much do you pay yourself to train? Or rather, how much of the money you earn training do you add to your savings and retirement?

If you just save $10 a day, in ten years you will have saved $36,000 dollars, and that is without interest. So imagine if you paid yourself $10 a session and invested it towards your future at an average yield of 5% interest. Do you think that would have a positive effect on your future? You bet your ass it would.

AFI teaches trainers how to make more money by giving you the skills you need to train and how to prospect and sell personal training.
At every seminar we cover how to earn more and save more. We don't teach you how to help more people and make more money so you can throw it away. Don't get caught up in money wasting activities in a gym like style wars, instead earn more and save more to be a truly successful trainer.
