How To Start Charging Your No-Show Clients When You Have Not In The Past. PDF Print E-mail

Get OUt of Jail Free Card A lot of Trainers feel bad charging clients for no-showing on appointments. What usually follows is that the Client can cancel anytime they need to, usually last minute and the Trainer does not charge them for the session. Some trainers are scared they will lose the client.

Here is how you can put an end to the problem once and for all. Print out this card, and give it to your clients. Let them know that they get one freebie. After that it is strictly 24 hour cancelation policy, that is they do not cancel with at least 24 hours notice they pay for the session. If you do not have a 24 hour cancellation policy, get one immediately. Let them know that  after this one, anything short of emergency room  and they have to pay for the missed session. No meeting, so headache that they hoped would have been over before the session or the myriad of other excuses they may have.

It is more than fair and it will allow you to address the situation in a left-handed manner. This funny card will let humor alleviate the seriousness of the conversation and you can handle what is considered a sticky situation for most trainers in an easy, non-confrontational way
